Ads.txt, App-Ads.txt and TCF
Supporting IAB Tech Labs adoption of Ads.txt, App-Ads.txt & TCF to drive transparency in the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
AudienceStore continues its commitment to drive transparency in the programmatic ecosystem and as such fully support the move to transact inventory with via both Authorised Digital Sellers (ads.txt) & Application Authorised Digital Sellers (app-ads.txt).
Both initiatives are industry wide solution led by IAB to ensure that the digital inventory bought and sold throughout the supply chain is authorised. Ads.txt / App-Ads.txt solve the issue of counterfeit media and therefore encourages brand safety and reduces fraudulent activity from the ecosystem.
AudienceStore is devoted to ensuring that the inventory bought is legitimate and verified by all members of the supply chain. Being transparent and tackling ad fraud is a key component of our approach to campaign management, and on behalf of all clients the aim is to ensure the highest quality of inventory is secured.
Where an Ads.txt / App-Ads.txt file is present AudienceStore will purchase inventory from authorised sellers only. In the absence of an Ads.txt / App-Ads.txt file Audience Store will recommend that the publisher adopts ads.txt at the earliest opportunity.
How does Ads.txt and App-Ads.txt Work?
In addition to the above AudienceStore is also in support of the Transparent consent framework 2.0 (TCF 2.0), a method of standardising consent signals within the adtech area. AudienceStore are committed to working closely with all vendors and inventory is constantly reviewed to ensure inventory is delivered with the correct TCF string.
“The IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) is the only GDPR consent solution built by the industry for the industry, creating a true industry-standard approach.”
